In our Catholic tradition, we generally baptize infants within the first two months of birth.  However, oftentimes the situation arises when a child is not baptized for several months after birth.  In any event, the parents should contact the parish and make arrangements for baptism.  The parish's requirements will then be explained.  Baptism is important for the removal of Original Sin, for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and to become a member of the Body of Christ and of His Church. 

Baptism preparation given at 7:00 PM on the first Tuesday of the month in San Juan Bautista Parish Hall for infants up to age 6.  Please register at Parish Office.
